| Condition: | A hole on the top margin of the a column of the recto affects the first 19 ff.. In the rest of the MS there are stains caused by humidity and holes made by woodworm. This vellum, with occasional holes outside the writing space. Some of the major material lacunae in the vellum were restored by pastedowns (e.g. ff. 2-4, 84, etc.). The few decorated letters are faded. The ink used for the text is also faded and in many pages almost totally disappeared (a contemporary hand wrote over the text in black ink at ff. 8ra, 110va, 132va and elsewhere). The ink used for the rubrics and the running titles is perfectly preserved. |
