General decoration:Chapters are marked by historiated initials (height: 6 lines), with coloured letters within gold frames. Paragraphs are marked by flourished initials (height: 2 lines), alternating red and blue (with decoration in the opposing colour). Guide letters are visible in the margins. Majuscules with orange highlighting.
Evidence of readership:Rubric (chapter headings) added at a later date.
Foliations description:Modern pencil numbering in the upper right corner of recto sides.

Scribe description:A regular Italian textualis of the late 14th c., whose traits include: two-compartment 'a' (open upper bow); 'h' with limb resting on baseline; both tall, round and trailing 's' all found in final position; 'u' in initial position; angular 3-shaped 'z'; abbreviations including uncrossed tironian 'et' and 'd(e)'.
