Front end papers (1): | One vellum flyleaf at the front. On the recto in a modern hand 'Merlin . Ce MS paroist estre du 12e sciecle ne contient au plus que le quart de ce roman . Il y a au comencement un extrait fort abregé du roman du St Graal qui finit page 18'. Below, a later hand has noted the error of this inscription: the texts contained in the manuscript are the prose versions of Robert de Boron's 'Joseph' and 'Merlin', without the continuation which is found attached to the cyclic 'Merlin' in 13th c. manuscripts. This inscription also refers to the addition at the end of the manuscript, which replaces the text which should have appeared on the now lost final folio. |
End papers (2): | Two vellum flyleaves at the back. On the recto of the first flyleaf missing text has been copied in a modern hand. |
