General illustration:Historiated initial representing the VIIIth battle between the Greeks and Trojans. The illustrator is probably the same as the first artist of Paris BnF f.fr. 760 and 9865. The composition is related to images in these manuscripts and also Paris BnF f.fr. 354 and n.a.f. 9603. (Avril 1984, 38).
General decoration:Pen-flourished initials (height: 2 lines), alternating between red and blue with decoration in the contrasting colour, by the same hand as those in Paris BnF n.a.l. 669, manufactured in Genoa and the mss Paris BnF f.fr. 1142, 2631 and 23082. (Avril 1984, 38).
Evidence of readership:Part of the library of William Cecil, Lord Burleigh, where the manuscript had the shelfmark '17'. Sold in London in November 1687 to M. Frasier. (Avril 1984, 38).
